Obituary of Eleanor Linnea Erickson

Went home to be with her Lord on June 26, 2015. Born to August and Mabel Bjorklund on September 22, 1916 in St. Paul. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sig; a sister and two brothers. Survived by daughter, Kathy Parsch; sons, Ronald (Phyllis) Erickson and Allan Erickson; 8 grandchildren: John Parsch, Kristen Nelson, Nancy (Andrew) Fitzgibbons, Douglas (Anna) Erickson, Dana (Jeff) Tschetter, Lynn (Eric) Palmer, Christopher Erickson and Katie (Mike) Fiske; 18 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her sweet and gentle spirit. Eleanor was devoted to her family who loved her dearly, her church where she served in various ways and to being a volunteer in the community. She loved music and played her organ until the very end. Memorial Service at 11 AM on Thursday, July 9 at First Covenant Church, 1280 Arcade St (Hwy 61), St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Private interment Union Cemetery. Memorials preferred to First Covenant Church or Covenant Pines Bible Camp.
