Many of the funeral homes in our area have been sold in recent years to large multi-national corporations. But unlike other businesses, they seldom change name, making it difficult to tell the conglomerate-owned funeral homes from our family-owned firm.

Unlike many other states, Minnesota law does not require any disclosure of ownership in advertising. Unless you specifically ask, you might never know if the owners your family has come to know and trust are still there.
